Eggless Whole Wheat Almond Cookies

                                          When you are running out of snacks at home, It's time to bake a simple and easy tea time snack. My kid loves baking. She loves to help me in baking cookies and muffins. With just 5 ingredients, kids can easily make these cookies.

Eggless Whole Wheat Almond Cookies

Ingredients:

Whole Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
Unsalted Butter        - 1/2 Cup
Sugar                      - 1/2 Cup
Salt                         - 1/4 tsp
Sliced Almonds       - 1/4 cup

Procedure:

1. Preheat Oven to 350℉/180℃ and line a baking tray with parchment paper/ Aluminium Foil.
2. In a medium bowl, add flour and salt.
3. Melt butter in a small bowl and add sugar to it. Mix it very well until its creamy.
4. Now pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and add the sliced almonds to it, making it a dough.
5. Make small balls out of it and pressing it gently, transfer these to the baking tray.
6. Bake for 15-16 minutes until the cookies are golden brown.
7. Let them cool completely before transferring to the cooling tray.

Notes:

1. You can substitute any nuts for Almonds.
2. You can add cardamom powder as in the original recipe.
3. The cookies will be very soft and it will harden in time.
